The Game of skill with
physical psychological and neurological benefits
DEVELOPPED BY A PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Christine Talbot, elementary and high school physical education teacher for more than 20 years discovered Poi discipline during a 6 month trip in Thailand. In 2003, she became the founder of Club Fy. She decided to share her passion with kids and created the fantastic Firefy Poi toy.

SPIN IT ALL DAY
The Fy Challenge is simply awesome. This activity is extraordinary for preschoolers because it allows them to develop their coordination, which is the basis of the movement, but also for adults, as in a circus project. It is a physical activity that relaxes the body and is practiced during P.E. classes, at recess but also before and after school. In a word, the Fy Challenge means to me and my students: Dependence! We get hooked quickly.
I have been a kinesiologist in the field of rehabilitation for more than 5 years. I work with people with head injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations or serious orthopedic injuries. I was fortunate to have had Poi training last year. Since then, I have used this tool with my patients. I have really been able to observe and even, in some cases, objectify an increase in concentration (especially in TBIs), coordination, motor patterns of walking, running and movement. In addition, people have a lot of fun using POIs, because it is pleasant and for a moment, they manage to forget their pains, their limitations, their disabilities and they find the smile of the little boy or little girl again. Is is simply great!
Thanks to Club Fy, my son Theo, 13, finds in the practice of poi an immense pleasure, as well as a self-esteem boost, both personally and socially. Poi allowed him to develop an extraordinary coordination, an agile body and an impressive manual dexterity which make him a remarkable dancer and an excellent musician. Poi even helps him academically by allowing him to improve his concentration and reduce his anxiety, to be more successful in school, despite his ADD. Thanks to Club Fy
